Finding My Way Home: Faith, Love, and the Soul of New England

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my little corner of the internet. For those of you just joining me, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about what makes me, well, me.

You see, I’m a man deeply rooted in faith, a faith that guides my steps and fills my life with purpose. This walk of faith has been a beautiful journey, though not without its unique challenges, especially as a gay man. There are preconceived notions, sometimes difficult conversations, and moments of wrestling with how my identity and my beliefs intersect. Yet, through it all, I’ve discovered an unwavering source of joy, profound peace, and a strength that carries me through each day. My hope is that through sharing my experiences, you might also find comfort and solace in your own daily lives, knowing that peace is always within reach.

Beyond matters of the spirit, my heart truly belongs to New England.

It’s in the craggy coastlines, the rolling hills, the charming small towns, and the unwavering spirit of local businesses that I find my truest sense of home. There’s something profoundly special about knowing your neighbors, celebrating their hard work, and seeing the tangible impact of supporting the very people who weave the fabric of our communities. I’m all about all things local, from the farmers markets to the mom-and-pop shops, finding immense satisfaction in uplifting those around us.

I often find myself longing for a simpler time, a sentiment rooted in my experiences growing up. Born in the 80s and raised in the 90s, I remember a world that felt less driven by technology and more connected by genuine human interaction. Communities gathered, conversations flowed more freely, and the pace of life seemed to invite more presence. It wasn’t always about the newest, shiniest toys, but about shared experiences and the richness of everyday life. I hold onto a quiet hope, a fervent prayer, that one day we can reclaim some of that beautiful simplicity and deeper connection.

The changing seasons here are a constant source of wonder and delight for me. From the vibrant blaze of autumn leaves to the quiet hush of a snowy winter morning, each season brings its own unique magic. And speaking of winter, you’ll quickly learn that I am a lifelong skier.

The great outdoors is where I feel most alive, whether it’s hiking a challenging trail, paddling a serene lake, or carving fresh tracks down a mountain.

And I’m incredibly fortunate to share these adventures, and this life, with my fiancé, Mark. He’s not just my partner; he’s my endless adventure sidekick, my steady compass, and my greatest supporter.
